Our Journey
2016
Stone Solution Founded
Architect Deniz Bidav established Stone Solution in Chantilly, VA, bringing expertise from legendary 100-year-old Italian stone company Poggi Bros and major distributor MS International. The retail store became a trusted partner for thousands of homeowners and designers.
2018
Strategic Pivot to Wholesale
Transitioned from retail to wholesale distribution, leveraging our industry expertise to serve major stone distributors and design/build firms throughout the Mid-Atlantic region.
2020
COVID-19 Pivot
Responded to unprecedented demand for outdoor living materials during the pandemic. Strengthened operations with Mike Toraman as COO, bringing enterprise-level project management expertise from IBM.
2021
Lorton, VA Warehouse
Partnered with Tile Space as an authorized distributor, bringing world-class QUA porcelain products to our portfolio. This strategic alliance expanded our offerings with premium porcelain pavers and tiles.
2023
Major Import Growth
Reached 300+ TEU containers annual import volume, expanding direct relationships with quarries in Turkey, Greece, and China.
2024
STONELUX Brand Launch
Created our own brand STONELUX, solidifying our position as one of the largest travertine & marble suppliers on the East Coast.
2025
Sterling Warehouse Expansion
Established our flagship 30,000 sqft warehouse in Sterling, VA, creating a state-of-the-art distribution hub to support our growing wholesale operations and maintain extensive inventory.
2026
All Colors of the Mediterranean
In 2026, STONELUX strengthened its partnership with Karamehmet Marble & Travertine, broadening our access to Turkish travertine and marble and reinforcing the material direction behind our core collections.
