Pera Cream Marble Pool Surround with Black Basalt Coping and Sun Shelf
McLean, VA / 2021
About this photo
Pera Cream Marble forms the pale deck around this rectangular pool, with Black Basalt coping defining the water’s edge. The cream-and-charcoal contrast emphasizes the straight perimeter and broad submerged sun shelf at the near end.
Pale slabs separated by pebble-filled joints bring a distinct paving detail to the foreground. Across the pool, a sheet waterfall flows from a dark raised wall, while adjoining planted beds and warm horizontal wood fencing soften the geometric layout.
