The wider format gives more cap surface than 12x24 and can help with larger pool edges or wall cap layouts. This piece coordinates with Arctic Grey Marble pavers, veneer, accessories, and related coping sizes for projects that carry the same stone across pool, patio, wall, and step details.

Arctic Grey Marble Coping Key Features

• Material: Marble with blue-gray tones.
• Finish: Sandblasted surface for a matte exterior texture.
• Profile: Eased Edge profile for exposed pool, wall, or step conditions.

• Thickness: 2" (5CM) thickness for coping, cap, or tread applications.

Color & Design Ideas

Arctic Grey Marble is listed with blue-gray tones and V2 (Slight Variation). The sandblasted marble surface works well when the design needs natural movement rather than a flat, uniform color.

Arctic Grey Marble can be coordinated with matching field pavers such as Arctic Grey Marble Sand Blasted French Pattern 3cm Paver, Arctic Grey Marble Sand Blasted 16x24 3cm Paver, splitface veneer or wall panels such as Arctic Grey Marble Splitface Ledger Panel - 6x24, Arctic Grey Marble Splitface Ledger Panel Corner - 6x18. Confirm samples, shade variation, joint color, and edge profiles before final layout.

Published project examples for this collection include Aldie Serenity – Afyon White & Arctic Grey Marble Luxury Pool Project, Arctic Retreat: Luxury Pool and Patio with Arctic Grey Marble Pavers, which can help show how the stone reads across a finished pool or outdoor layout.

Where to Use Arctic Grey Marble Coping

Pool Edges

Use this piece to finish the pool perimeter and create an exposed stone edge. Confirm overhang, pitch, corners, and profile orientation before installation.

Wall Caps

This stone can cap low walls, raised planters, and other masonry features when the width and edge detail fit the wall assembly. Slope and joint treatment should be planned to help shed water.

Steps and Treads

The profile and thickness can be used for step fronts or landings where a finished stone edge is needed. Confirm riser layout, bearing, and joint spacing before setting the pieces.

Care & Maintenance

Sealing is required for Arctic Grey Marble, especially outdoors and around pools. Clean with pH-neutral stone cleaner and avoid acidic cleaners, vinegar, harsh chemicals, and abrasive pads when the material is natural stone.

For installation, verify substrate preparation, setting materials, drainage, overhang, movement joints, and edge alignment. Professional installation is recommended for best results.

Required Exterior Marble Installation

STONELUX installation requirement: Do not install this marble coping, cap, or tread directly over sand, gravel, aggregate, stone dust, or soil. Permanently bond it to a properly prepared concrete or approved cementitious support with an exterior-rated wet-set mortar system or white polymer-modified mortar approved for natural stone.

Require full mortar coverage and plan slope, drainage, movement joints, waterproofing where applicable, and all transitions before work begins. Moisture moving through an unsuitable substrate or setting system can contribute to staining or efflorescence in marble and other light stone. Review LATICRETE guidance for installing natural stone and the CUSTOM marble installation bulletin with the project installer.

Sealing Exterior Marble

All exterior marble supplied by STONELUX must be sealed after installation and the setting system's required cure time. Use a sealer compatible with the marble, finish, exposure, and desired appearance. STONELUX recommends TERATONE 467 Color Enhancing Deep Penetrating Protector for compatible unfinished or sandblasted marble when a richer color and satin appearance are desired. Review the TERATONE manufacturer guidance, test a small inconspicuous area first, avoid overapplication, and follow all label directions. Sealer does not replace correct substrate preparation, drainage, waterproofing, or maintenance.
