Afyon White Marble Pool Deck with Black Basalt Waterfall Wall Caps
Vienna, VA / 2022
About this photo
Afyon White Marble paving forms the pale pool deck, with a mixed-size French pattern and subtle veining visible around the loungers and beside the house. Black Basalt coping creates a continuous dark border around the rectangular pool, contrasting with the white marble and blue water.
Black Basalt caps also finish the raised water-feature wall along one side. Sheet waterfalls spill over its dark stacked-stone facing, while broad submerged entry steps occupy the near corner of the pool.

About this project
Modern Monochrome: The Afyon White Marble & Black Basalt Poolside Harmony
The vision was clear from the start: to create a pool area that feels like a modern oasis, blending seamlessly with the architectural style of the home while offering a tranquil retreat. Lewis Aquatech, known for their innovative designs and detailed craftsmanship, took on the challenge with enthusiasm. Their choice of materials and design approach has resulted in a space that is not only functional but also a work of art.
