Black Basalt Pool Coping and Wood-Toned Deck

Modern McLean Pool Project in McLean VA features a sleek design with Black Basalt coping and Nexus White Porcelain pavers. The crystal-blue pool complements modern architecture, lush greenery, and stylish outdoor seating, creating a luxurious backyard ... — Black Basalt coping creates a charcoal border between the blue pool and wood-toned deck. Its straight edge leads toward a white pavilion, where a stream of water falls into the pool.

About this photo

Black Basalt coping runs along the rectangular pool, forming a dark, clearly jointed border beside the warm brown deck boards. The charcoal stone contrasts with the bright blue water, while submerged entry steps are visible just inside the near edge.

The long pool edge leads toward a flat-roof white pavilion with a falling water feature. Pale paving and white architecture reinforce the light-dark palette, with the deck adding a warmer tone to the geometric design.
