Black Basalt Wall Caps Along a Raised Pool Pebble Channel
McLean VA / 2025
About this photo
Black Basalt wall caps run along the low outer wall of a pebble-filled channel beside the raised rectangular pool. Nexus White porcelain paving forms the lower terrace, creating a light contrast with the dark caps and grey wall faces.
Wood-toned steps connect the terrace to the upper deck at the left. The long, parallel pool and wall edges emphasize the stepped layout, while a sheet of water falls from the white pavilion roof into the pool beyond.
