Frequently Asked Questions

What is Ivory Travertine Splitface Ledger Panel Corner - 6x6 used for?

This product is used for vertical wall veneer applications such as feature walls, facades, fireplace surrounds, columns, returns, and outside corners. It should be coordinated with matching flat panels or related veneer pieces from the Ivory Travertine Collection when the project requires a continuous stone wall surface.

How does the Splitface finish look on this veneer?

The Splitface finish creates a raised, dimensional stone face with visible texture and shadow. It gives the wall more depth than a flat tile or honed slab surface.

Can this Ivory Travertine veneer be used outdoors?

The listed application areas should be checked in the technical specifications, and exterior use requires proper substrate preparation, drainage detailing, setting materials, and sealing. Avoid acidic cleaners when Chemical/Acid Resistance is listed as no.

Does this veneer need sealing?

Sealing is recommended for this material. Use a sealer appropriate for natural stone and the installation location, then reapply based on exposure, cleaning habits, and sealer manufacturer guidance.

How is the 6x6 veneer piece sold?

Sold by EACH. Full box only (4 pieces/box). For estimating, count the wall area, corners, returns, waste, and any matching flat veneer panels needed for the layout.

What shade variation should I expect?

This product is listed with V2 (Slight Variation). Dry fitting and blending pieces from multiple boxes or pallets can help distribute color and texture naturally across visible wall areas.

What colors and design styles work with Ivory Travertine?

Ivory Travertine is listed with beige tones. Light warm stone tones usually pair well with off-white plaster, bronze or black metal, warm wood, and soft landscape colors.

What products are commonly paired with this veneer?

Ivory Travertine can be coordinated with matching field pavers such as Ivory Travertine Tumbled French Pattern 3cm Paver - Premium, Ivory Travertine Tumbled French Pattern 3cm Paver - Select, matching coping and cap pieces such as Ivory Travertine Tumbled 24x36x2 Single Bullnose Coping - Premium, Ivory Travertine Tumbled 24x24x2 Single Bullnose Coping - Premium, drain decor for coordinated drainage details. Are there project examples using Ivory Travertine?

Published project examples for this collection include Ivory Travertine: Retreat Pool Under the Trees, Ivory Twilight: A Travertine Patio Project, which can help show how the stone reads across a finished pool or outdoor layout.

How does marble veneer compare with travertine veneer?

Marble usually gives a cleaner or more refined stone appearance, while travertine often has warmer tones, natural pores, and a more rustic texture. Both are natural stones and typically benefit from stone-safe cleaning and sealing outdoors.
