Frequently Asked Questions

Where can Ivory Travertine Tumbled French Pattern 3cm Paver - Select be used?

This paver is used for pool and patio decks, walkways, and stepping stone layouts. The 1-3/16" (3CM) thickness is intended for exterior paver assemblies when the base, drainage, and setting method are planned correctly.

What does French Pattern mean for this Ivory Travertine paver?

French Pattern uses multiple coordinating sizes instead of one repeated paver size. It creates a varied joint layout across larger pool decks, patios, and walkways.

Is the Tumbled finish suitable around pools?

The Tumbled finish gives the surface a matte, textured face with more grip than a polished finish. The listed DCOF value is 0.64 - 0.60, which is useful as a traction indicator, not a safety guarantee.

Pool decks still need proper slope, drainage, cleaning, sealing, and maintenance.

Does Ivory Travertine need sealing?

Sealing is recommended for this material, especially outdoors and around pools, landscaping, and dining areas. Use a sealer suitable for exterior stone and follow the sealer manufacturer guidance.

Because Chemical/Acid Resistance is No, avoid acidic cleaners, vinegar, harsh descalers, and acidic spills when appropriate.

How is this paver sold?

Sold by SQFT. Full pallet only (176 sqft/pallet). Confirm the installed area, cuts, borders, pattern layout, and waste allowance before ordering.

What colors and design styles work with Ivory Travertine?

Ivory Travertine is listed with beige tones. Light warm stone tones usually pair well with off-white plaster, bronze or black metal, warm wood, and soft landscape colors.

What products are commonly paired with this paver?

Ivory Travertine can be coordinated with matching coping and cap pieces such as Ivory Travertine Tumbled 24x36x2 Single Bullnose Coping - Premium, Ivory Travertine Tumbled 24x24x2 Single Bullnose Coping - Premium, splitface veneer or wall panels such as Ivory Travertine Splitface Ledger Panel - 6x24, Ivory Travertine Splitface Ledger Panel Corner - 6x6, drain decor for coordinated drainage details. Confirm samples, shade variation, joint color, and edge profiles before final layout.

Are there project examples using Ivory Travertine?

Published project examples for this collection include Ivory Travertine: Retreat Pool Under the Trees, Ivory Twilight: A Travertine Patio Project, which can help show how the stone reads across a finished pool or outdoor layout.

How does Ivory Travertine compare with concrete or porcelain pavers?

Ivory Travertine offers natural travertine color movement, pores, and tumbled stone character. Concrete and porcelain pavers are often selected for greater uniformity, different maintenance expectations, or local installation preferences. Travertine typically benefits from sealing and stone-safe maintenance outdoors.
