This product works well when the project needs coordinated stone across paving, coping, treads, veneer, and accessories. Plan the layout, base, drainage, and sealing before installation, especially around pools and outdoor living areas.

Tundra Grey Marble Paver Key Features

• Material: Marble with gray tones.
• Finish: Sandblasted surface for a matte outdoor texture.
• Size: 24x36 format for layout planning.
• Thickness: 1-3/16" (3CM) thickness for exterior paver assemblies.
• Applications: Pool and patio decks, walkways, and stepping stone layouts.

Color & Design Ideas

Tundra Grey Marble is listed with gray tones and V2 (Slight Variation). The sandblasted marble surface works well when the design needs natural movement rather than a flat, uniform color.

Tundra Grey Marble can be coordinated with matching coping and cap pieces such as Tundra Grey Marble Sand Blasted 16x24x2 Single Bullnose Coping, Tundra Grey Marble Sand Blasted 14x24x2 Single Bullnose Coping. Confirm samples, shade variation, joint color, and edge profiles before final layout.

Published project examples for this collection include Lakeview Retreat, Pool, and Patio | Tundra Grey Marble, Backyard Oasis McLean VA with Tundra Grey Marble and Black Basalt, which can help show how the stone reads across a finished pool or outdoor layout.

Where to Use Tundra Grey Marble Pavers

Pool and Patio Decks

Use this paver for pool surrounds, patios, courtyards, and outdoor living areas where a natural stone field is desired. Proper slope and drainage help manage water around the paved surface.

Walkways

The stone can be used for garden paths, side-yard walks, and transitions between outdoor spaces. Base preparation, joint spacing, and edge restraint should match the site conditions.

Stepping Stone Layouts

Standalone marble stepping-stone layouts still require each piece to be permanently bonded over a properly designed concrete or approved cementitious pad. Do not place marble directly over gravel, turf, planted soil, or loose aggregate.

Care & Maintenance

Sealing is required for Tundra Grey Marble, especially outdoors and around pools. Clean with a pH-neutral stone cleaner and avoid acidic cleaners, vinegar, harsh chemicals, and abrasive products when the material is natural stone.

Required Exterior Marble Installation

STONELUX installation requirement: Do not dry-lay this marble paver or install it directly over sand, gravel, aggregate, stone dust, soil, or turf. Install it over a properly designed, cured concrete slab or approved cementitious substrate using an exterior-rated wet-set mortar system or white polymer-modified thin-set or large-and-heavy-tile mortar approved for natural stone.

Require full mortar coverage and plan slope, drainage, movement joints, waterproofing where applicable, and all transitions before work begins. Moisture moving through an unsuitable substrate or setting system can contribute to staining or efflorescence in marble and other light stone. Review LATICRETE guidance for installing natural stone and the CUSTOM marble installation bulletin with the project installer.

Sealing Exterior Marble

All exterior marble supplied by STONELUX must be sealed after installation and the setting system's required cure time. Use a sealer compatible with the marble, finish, exposure, and desired appearance. STONELUX recommends TERATONE 467 Color Enhancing Deep Penetrating Protector for compatible unfinished or sandblasted marble when a richer color and satin appearance are desired. Review the TERATONE manufacturer guidance, test a small inconspicuous area first, avoid overapplication, and follow all label directions. Sealer does not replace correct substrate preparation, drainage, waterproofing, or maintenance.
